Come and visit the A-Team! - our herd of Alpacas in proximity. Listen to the history and how to care for our boys. Hand feed and touch them, take as many photographs as you like and enjoy a picnic in a truly stunning location in the Galloway Hills. You will you be in the safe hands of one of specialised colleagues and it is a perfect opportunity to come and relax and unwind. This experience is catered for younger children and their parents, for those who just simply want to take in the surroundings of this special area.

- Prices start at £15 for visitors 12 yrs & over, £7 for children 4 – 11 yrs, and under 4s are free.
- All visitors under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent as part of the booking.
- The activity lasts 45 mins.
- Groups of up to 10 Adults maximum (with children count flexible i.e. numbers could be 10-15 people]
- Suitable for all ages and mobilities including wheelchair users.
- Site facilities include car parking and disabled parking, disabled access toilet and light refreshments.
Morning Private Trek
Times: 11am - 12:30pm

- £75 for 2 people walking 2 alpacas on a Private Walk
- Under 8s can accompany for free on Private Walks and are not included in the booking numbers but must share a second halter with an adult.
- Maximum allowed people are 4
Afternoon Mixed Group Walk
Times: 3.00pm - 4:30pm
Come and walk with our Alpacas in one of the most unspoilt and beautiful areas in Scotland. As you walk you will start to relax and move at the same pace as our herd. Enjoy their company as you get to know and understand them and their behaviour whilst relaxing outdoors with friends and family. At the end of the walk, enjoy refreshments in our Alpaca Shack and take photographs of the stunning scenery.

- Prices start at £30 per adult person on a Mixed Group Walk, 1 alpaca per person.
- Accompanying walkers over 6 yrs are £10 per person and must be paid for as part of the booking. For the benefit of the alpacas we like to keep the ratio of people to alpacas as even as possible. Under are 6 yrs are not allowed on Mixed Group Walks unless they are carried. All parents have a responsibility to adequately decide if their children can walk for the period advertised.
- All visitors under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent as part of the booking.
- Activity lasts approximately 1.5 hours – walk 1 hour 15 minutes with a safety introduction at the start and feeding session at the end.
- Groups of up to 10 on Mixed Group Walks.
Half Day Private Hill Walk
Times: From 9:30am
Do you feel like doing something out of the ordinary? Come and walk with us in a Unesco Biosphere and up to the highest point of our hills at 1499ft tall. The views are truly spectacular over the sea towards England, Ireland and the Isle of Man? Come and join us for an unforgettable experience.

- Activity takes place from Galloway Alpacas at the Glen Farm
- Prices start at £150 per person walking 1 Alpaca with guide. This is a mixed group activity with a maximum 2 persons.
- All visitors under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent as part of the booking with 1 Alpaca per person. No under 16s are allowed.
- This walk has an approx. 4 hour duration, steep gradients and rough terrain and is suitable for those with proper hill walking experience. We will be walking up to 5 miles ascending to 1500ft.
- You must bring decent walking boots, a proper jacket and rucksack.
- Picnic lunch and snacks will be provided from the wonderful Galloway Lodge in Gatehouse of Fleet
- This activity is not suitable for individuals with underlying health issues or moderate asthma. Please state pre-existing medical conditions that may affect strenuous exercise when booking.
